kiss your subconscious

1. dreams can be controlled through practice or innate ability to be a lucid dreamer. some dreams were found to be more realistic than reality, as things like peripheral vision and weak eyesight could be rid of.
2. hypnosis is a mutual effort. the one being hypnotized must be open-minded to the idea of submitting and must practice at having a blank mind on command.
3. visualization itself can be reached more easily through practice, which all of alterbeingkind likely knows about by the time any stumble upon my account so i wont describe them here. some visualizations can be done unintentionally, similar to dreams.
commonalities: the subconscious is something you can train, and training nets you the reward of crafting your own version of reality. this reality can encompass your visual schema, your mental schema, and your emotional schema.
unfortunately, society ridicules and dissuades folks who have high imaginative skills, preferring us to focus on the 'present reality'. this may lead to less familiarity with the subconscious. aphantasia is also a possible factor.
those who now struggle to (day)dream, get hypnotized, or visualize... i believe its the subconscious' way of signaling "theres something wrong." be it aphantasia, stress, or just not practicing.
i consider it like a muscle. if you dont use it, you may lose it.
